Prayer for the coming end of winter....
"Dear Creator,
Thank you for the winter—a time for resting, taking stock, and finding stillness. As the cold lifts and the earth prepares to awaken, I ask for a renewal of spirit. 
Help me to shed the,bitterness, apathy, or darkness that may have settled in my heart, just as the trees prepare to shed their bareness. As the frost abates, remove any remaining coldness in my life, allowing your warmth to bring color and new life to my soul. 
I look forward with hope to the breaking buds of spring. Teach me to leave behind the "midnight" of winter, to let go of what is past, and to embrace the coming season of growth and joy. 
May the lessons of this winter make me stronger, and may I move forward into the warmth, ready to bloom and flourish once again.    Amen."
